Nằm trong chuỗi hoạt động thúc đẩy hợp tác cùng các trường đại học trên thế giới thuộc sự kiện của năm 2022 – A Future Resilience Through Smart City Lens, từ ngày 22/8 – 30/8 vừa qua, Viện Đô thị thông minh và Quản lý đã có chuyến tham quan trải nghiệm thực tế và thảo luận hợp tác với một số cơ quan, đơn vị nghiên cứu về đô thị thông minh cũng như các trường Đại học tại Hàn Quốc – một trong những quốc gia đi đầu về phát triển đô thị thông minh.
Là một Viện non trẻ của UEH, ISCM luôn nỗ lực không ngừng để tạo dựng, phát triển mới mục tiêu hướng tới phát triển đô thị thông minh tại Việt Nam. ISCM tin rằng được trực tiếp học hỏi, trải nghiệm những thành công của Hàn Quốc về mô hình đô thị, thiết kế đô thị thông minh là một điều tuyệt vời và tiếp thu “tinh hoa trăm năm” khi đứng trên vai người khổng lồ.
Trong chuyến đi lần này, ISCM đã làm việc cùng các đối tác như: The Incheon Free Economic Zone, Stanford Living lab tại Songdo; Jeju research Institute, Sangmyeong Wind Power Complex, CFI Future Hall, Northeast Resources Circulation Center và Kepco tại đảo Jeju; Sở Giao thông và Đô thị thông minh Seoul, KTPA,… Ngoài ra, ISCM còn đến thăm và thảo luận về tiềm năng hợp tác toàn diện cùng các trường đại học như University of Seoul, Seoul National Univeristy, Sungkyunkwan University và Kangwon University.
Chuyến tham quan thực tế và làm việ tại Hàn Quốc thành công đã mở đầu cho những hành trình sắp tới trong tương lai, là một nỗ lực to lớn mang UEH-ISCM vươn ra biển lớn, góp phần vào hành trình trở thành Đại học học thuật có danh tiếng của UEH. Đồng thời, chuyến đi “đứng trên vai người khổng lồ” này như một cam kết mạnh mẽ cho sứ mệnh và tầm nhìn của ISCM hướng tới xây dựng đô thị thông minh và đáng sống!

ISCM & KOREA TRIP: CONNECTING COOPERATION AND MORE
As part of a series of events to foster collaboration with universities around the world as part of the 2022 – A Future Resilience Through Smart City Lens event series, the Institute of Smart City and Management had a field trip from August 22-30 to experience, discuss cooperation with various smart city research agencies and units as well as universities in Korea, one of the leading countries in smart city development.
As a young institute of the UEH, the ISCM always makes constant efforts to create and develop new goals for developing smart cities in Vietnam. ISCM believes it is great to learn and directly experience Korea’s achievements in city modeling and smart urban design, and to absorb the “quintessence of a hundred years” by standing on the shoulders of giants.
During this trip, ISCM worked with partners such as The Incheon Free Economic Zone, the Stanford Living lab in Songdo; Jeju Research Institute, Sangmyeong Wind Power Complex, CFI Future Hall, Northeast Resources Circulation Center, and KEPCO in Jeju Island; Seoul Department of Transportation and Smart City, KTPA, etc. In addition, ISCM also visited and discussed the potential of comprehensive cooperation with universities such as the University of Seoul, Seoul National University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Kangwon University.
The successful excursion and work in Korea paved the way for the next trips in the future, which is a great effort to take UEH-ISCM to the great seas and contribute to the path of becoming a university academic reputation of UEH. At the same time, this journey “on the shoulders of giants” is a firm commitment to ISCM’s mission and vision to build a smart and livable city.
