ISCM & tour, meet Korean partners: Connect, cooperate and take advantage of giants

As part of a series of activities to promote cooperation with universities around the world under the event of 2022 – A Future Resilience Through Smart City Lens, from August 22 to August 30, the Institute of Smart Cities and The manager had a field trip to experience and discuss cooperation with a number of agencies and research units on smart cities as well as universities in Korea – one of the leading countries in development. smart city development.
As a fledgling Institute of UEH, ISCM always makes constant efforts to create and develop new goals towards smart city development in Vietnam. ISCM believes that directly learning and experiencing Korea’s successes in urban modeling and smart urban design is a great thing and absorbing the “hundred-year quintessence” when standing on the shoulders of giants. .
During this trip, ISCM worked with partners such as: The Incheon Free Economic Zone, Stanford Living lab in Songdo; Jeju research Institute, Sangmyeong Wind Power Complex, CFI Future Hall, Northeast Resources Circulation Center and Kepco in Jeju Island; Seoul Department of Transportation and Smart City, KTPA, etc. In addition, ISCM also visited and discussed the potential of comprehensive cooperation with universities such as University of Seoul, Seoul National Univeristy, Sungkyunkwan University and Kangwon University.
The successful field trip and work in Korea opened the way for upcoming journeys in the future, which is a great effort to bring UEH-ISCM to the big sea, contributing to the journey to become a University academic reputation of UEH. At the same time, this trip “standing on the shoulders of giants” is a strong commitment to ISCM’s mission and vision towards building a smart and livable city!

ISCM & KOREA TRIP: CONNECTING COOPERATION AND MORE
