With the goal of promoting scientific and technological activities, which are really the foundation for socio-economic development, improving the quality and applicability of scientific and technological products, and bringing these products to the market. From the very beginning in the commercialization process, the Innovation Institute, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City (UII) organized a training course “Skills to commercialize scientific and technological products” in 2020.

Detailed program

The content of the course includes 6 topics around exploiting the potential of science and technology products and helping scientists/researchers/experts develop skills in attracting deployment resources. commercialized solutions for research results or scientific and technological products.

• Topic 1 – The process of commercializing scientific and technological products
• Topic 2 – Analyzing competitive advantages of scientific and technological products
• Topics 3.4 – Developing and selecting business and commercial opportunities from technology
• Theme 5 – Skills to attract resources to deploy commercialized solutions
• Theme 6 – Negotiation skills and negotiation on science and technology transfer

The program is taught by trained experts in the fields of Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property and Economic Contract Negotiation. They will provide students with background knowledge and practical experience on relevant issues.

Summary: Students who complete the course will be provided with a certificate of completion.
